Daya Gohil is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner that practices across the lifespan. Prior to working for BestMind, she worked at a community mental health center for over 6 years where she specialized in complex high acuity clients with co-morbidities. Daya is passionate about her work and believes in individualizing treatment plans to meet every individual’s psychiatric needs with a holistic and multidisciplinary approach. Her philosophy is to provide exceptional care by blending evidence-based modalities that include medications, therapy and lifestyle modifications to achieve optimal outcomes. When Daya is not at work, she enjoys hiking, traveling, solving puzzles, reading, watching movies and spending time with family. She is an active volunteer and enjoys teaching about mental health awareness to help improve our community and eliminate barriers.
